FlexForLife 2021 Flexibility Works
If you work in engineering and your organisation would like to attract, develop and retain more talented female engineers, this in-person event to mark International Women in Engineering Day is for you. Together with the Centre for Engineering, Education and Development (CeeD) we’re hosting a morning of insightful panel discussions to inspire and support employers to move the dial on gender diversity. In particular, you’ll hear from female engineers on what has helped or hindered their careers so far, and employers that are taking effective proactive steps to increase women in their workforce. The event will include: Success stories and practical advice from a range of Scottish employers that are recruiting, developing and retaining top female talent. Personal stories from women in engineering about the barriers they’ve faced and what has helped them overcome these. Top tips on how flexible working can be leveraged to attract and retain women, especially mothers, in engineering roles, and help create a positive, inclusive culture that benefits all workers and the business. The chance to question our expert panel. Networking opportunities. Light refreshments. Places will be limited, so book yours now.
